Continuing Education
MFC works closely with many facets of our immediate healthcare community, but our Live Education program is available to anyone, regardless of where they’re located.
Core Offerings
Quarterly Webcasts
Our webcasts provide quality, free, and virtually-accessible continual education on a broad range of topics from BLS, to ALS, and critical care.
-
Our quarterly webcasts are typically 3 hours long, with 3 speakers, and 3 topics.
Attendees can log on any time and receive up to 3 CME credits.
-
We prioritize discussion-based learning over traditional lecture style to deepen engagement and maximize retention.
We’ve learned that live streaming encourages the greatest amount of participant engagement, and we’re committed to providing the highest level of quality in all we do for our communities. Each MFC Live Ed webcast is more like a live broadcast special than a lecture series, and all content for each speaker is streamed live.
-
Our webcast attendees typically consist of professionals from all experience levels located in central NY as well as major cities nationally and internationally.
Semi-Annual Conferences
We offer two in person education conferences throughout the year; one in the Finger Lakes Region, and one in the Mohawk Valley Region. Both events cover a broad range of topics for a larger group and breakout sessions.
-
Our conferences are are typically 6 hours long with 8 speakers.
Attendees can choose which breakout sessions they’d like to attend and receive up to 6 CME credits.
-
We provide attendees with access to subject matter experts in their respective fields that take a deep dive into subjects applicable to both our pre-hospital and in hospital participants. Utilizing multiple sessions to choose from throughout the conference allows for attendees to pick topics that interest them for each level of care.
